Delhi govt tabled CAG report in Assembly after multiple reminders: Sources

Sources close to the Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena's office have claimed that the Delhi government tabled audit report of the Comptroller and Auditor General on the state's finances in the Assembly on July 5 after multiple reminders. According to sources, the CAG office did not receive any response from the finance department,headed by Manish Sisodia, about the delay in placing audit reports before the Assembly. A total of five CAG reports -- State Finances Audit Report, Revenue Economic, Social and General Sectors and PSUs, Social General & Economic Sectors, Finance Accounts of GNCTD and Appropriation Accounts of GNCTD, were pending with the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
