Call for Nepal monarchy return
Leaders of the World Hindu Federation on Saturday gave a call for the restoration of monarchy in Nepal. The leaders said Hindu organisations active in India and Nepal would join hands to launch a movement under the leadership of King Gyanendra to safeguard the rights of the king in the emerging political scenario in Nepal. HT Image Inaugurating the general council meeting of the World Hindu Federation International the BJP MP from Gorakhpur, Yogi Adityanath, said Maoists managed to capture power through the barrel of the gun. Terming the Maoists anti-Hindu and anti- monarch, Yogi said the new government in Nepal under the leadership of the Maoists would be a major threat to the security of India. International president Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Ashok Singhal said the interim government had declared Nepal a secular country.
