China's largest cross-border retail e-commerce platform opens in Xiamen
China DailyAliExpress' Fujian Business Expansion Center is officially established in Xiamen, Fujian province. The platform, AliExpress, will take advantages of supportive policies such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership agreement to encourage companies to open overseas warehouses in order to improve the cross-border e-commerce industrial chain and ecosystem. As the largest cross-border retail e-commerce platform in China, AliExpress has set up 18 language sites, covering more than 200 countries and regions, and its cumulative number of buyers worldwide has exceeded 150 million. AliExpress will offer free trainings in logistics services, talent training, brand incubation, and global marketing for Fujian businesses to enhance operational abilities of cross-border e-commerce sellers and cultivate high-quality cross-border companies. The platform's establishment in Xiamen will better contribute to clothing, shoes and hats, bags and lighting companies in Fujian and surrounding provinces, as the number of stores and overseas sales in Fujian ranks among the top in the country on AliExpress.
