Morning schools extended by another week in AP
VIJAYAWADA: School education department has extended morning schools for another week in view of the hot weather conditions. School education commissioner S. Suresh Kumar, in a press release in Vijayawada on Sunday, said the schools will function from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. till June 24. Housewife Sujatha Garuguballi said extension of holidays would have prevented children from moving out of the house during the heatwave. He, however, welcomed morning schools as a good decision of the government.
