The aunt-nephew duo shared the stage at a public rally in Kakdwip on Friday, marking the conclusion of Abhishek Banerjee's two-month-long Jana Sanjog Yatra, aimed at connecting with the masses of West Bengal. Mamata Banerjee's speech came after 35-year-old Abhishek Banerjee addressed the gathering where he spoke about the challenges he faced during the months-long fierce campaigning to garner public affinity as the state approaches two major elections -- panchayat and 2024 Lok Sabha polls. Following Abhishek Banerjee's address to the gathering, where he shared the challenges faced during the extensive campaign to garner public support, CM Mamata Banerjee took the stage, asserting that she was speaking as the chairperson of "All India Trinamool Congress and not as the Chief Minister".
