Jagan govt releases only Rs. 14000 Cr for farmers, not Rs 1.33 lakh crore: TD

Vishakapatnam: President of the farmers wing of the Telugu Desam Marreddy Srinivasa Reddy on Monday said the government has till now released only Rs 14,000 crore for the farmers’ welfare but it is claiming that a whooping Rs 1,33,562 crore was released. He said Rs 30,000 crore benefits were extended to the farmers in the state during Chandrababu Naidu regime. Speaking to reporters at the party office at Mangalagiri on Monday, Srinivasa Reddy said the farming community in the state is facing a serious crisis as they are unable to cultivate crops and if those who could manage are not in a position to sell their farm products. Through these false advertisements, the entire state is being misled and Jagan uttered total falsehood at the Monday’s public meeting that he addressed at Nandyal, Srinivasa Reddy said.
