Changes to the industry: NBCUniversal opted for a digital release of Trolls World Tour rather than delaying until theaters reopen and the move was so successful the studio plans on continuing to release streamed versions of upcoming films in a post-coronavirus world 'The results for Trolls World Tour have exceeded our expectations and demonstrated the viability of PVOD,' JNBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell said last month.
