WhatsApp new feature will let users block annoying contacts directly from notification

India Today

WhatsApp is one of the most popular instant messaging platforms globally with more than 2 billion active users. But now to help users with that, WhatsApp is adding a shortcut which will allow users to block a contact right within the notification bar. A new report by WABetaInfo- a site which tends to track the latest developments of WhatsApp, suggests that WhatsApp is working on a new feature which will allow users to block any contact directly from the chat message notification. In the meantime, WhatsApp is also said to be working on another block contact shortcut which will allow users to quickly block contacts right within the chat option in the chat list. Talking about a new feature which is already out, WhatsApp has introduced a proxy feature for users who face frequent internet disruption or ban due to government censorship.
