The police are investigating whether a fatal hit-and-run in Maasluis on Sunday was intentional. The police later arrested the four men in the car on suspicion of public violence and malsaughter. “The investigation is still ongoing, and there is much speculation about it, but intent is one of the scenarios we are investigating,” a police spokesperson told the Telegraaf. “His death has had a huge impact on our community,” Abdelhamid Taheri of the mosque told Omroep West.
