Huzhou village donates tea to promote common prosperity

Huangdu, a village in Anji county, East China's Zhejiang province, has managed to escape poverty by growing tea, and the village has been replicating its success elsewhere in the nation, according to Sheng Awei, Party chief of the village. Sheng made the remarks in an interview as a delegate to the 15th Communist Party of China Zhejiang Provincial Congress, which commenced on June 20. He added that Huangdu village plans to donate an additional 30 million white tea seedlings and build 10,000-mu standard tea gardens in the following three years to support the nation's east-west poverty relief campaign.
