Relative Behind the Couple Suicide Held by Police

Hyderabad: Police on Tuesday arrested a man for abetting the suicide of his relative, a teenage girl, along with her boyfriend, on the ORR. It was stated that the relative, who is 26 years old, had confessed to the police that he had taken pictures of the couple, and was harassing the minor for money. At one point, police quoting from the relative’s confession said, the minor had stated that she had no money to give him. Police said the accused relative's father had gone to the house of the victim’s family to console her parents. Police said that the body of Sriram, a cycle repair shop owner from Bibinagar in Nalgonda district, was handed over to his family who performed the final rites in the evening.
