Dexys Midnight Runners founding member Andy Leek has died aged 66 after a battle with Parkinson's disease. The singer, who famously left the band just as his track Geno was reaching number one, passed away on November 3 aged 66 after battling the disease for 20 years. Andy became a member of Dexys Midnight Runners, after the release of their first single Dance Stance in 1979, but following the release of their song Geno, he departed the group.
