Police showing urgency as if they'll solve case within week: Ram Gopal Varma
Film director Ram Gopal Varma has responded to the police summons and the allegations against him, calling the case “unwarranted”. The controversy stems from a social media post made nearly a year ago, where the film director allegedly shared morphed photographs of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and their family members in an "indecent" manner. Varma also criticised the use of police as a tool by political parties, stating, "Political parties are misusing the police as a weapon." "I requested a rescheduled date," he added, pointing out the irony of the police's urgency over a tweet posted almost a year ago.
