A.P. govt. will come out with seniority list of teachers, law on their transfers, says Lokesh

: Human Resources Development Minister Nara Lokesh informed the Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Friday that for the first time in the State’s history, a seniority list for teachers would be released. Highlighting the critical role teachers play in the education system, Mr. Lokesh emphasised that if teachers were burdened, they could not teach effectively. Mr. Lokesh reiterated his strong belief in the “One Class, One Teacher” policy, mentioning that it was currently implemented in only 1,400 schools. Mr. Lokesh called for the collaboration of all groups to drive reforms in the education sector, asserting that Andhra Pradesh could serve as a model for the entire nation if everyone worked together.
