Facebook app updated with direct comment replies and more

New York: Just a month after unveiling version 8.0, Facebook has rolled out an update for its iOS client, bringing the app to version 9.0. The update brings about a handful of new features, including the ability to reply directly to comments, which will only be available on select Pages that have enabled the feature. With the iPad version of the app, users can now see posts about trending topics highlighted in their News Feed.Additionally, group administrators can easily review and approve pending posts by group members.Here's your full 9.0 change log:What's New in Version 9.0• Reply directly to comments on stories by Pages that have this feature turned on• Group admins can easily review and approve pending posts by group members• See posts about trending topics highlighted in News Feed on iPadEarlier, the company announced another new feature that will soon be hitting iOS called ‘Nearby Friends.'
