Arrangements Made for Kartheeka Masam at Yadadri Temple
Deccan ChronicleArrangements have been made for the upcoming Kartheeka Masam festival at the Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple in Yadadri. The temple executive officer has announced that 18,253 couples will be allowed to participate in the vratham during the auspicious period from November 2 to December 1. Some individuals have been permitted to engage Veda pundits and perform the vratham separately in the mandapam. However, this practice will not be allowed this year. Free valet parking will be available from November 2, while tri-cycles and wheel chairs will be provided for the physically challenged and aged devotees. A tent will be set up outside the vratha mandapam for family members of the couples participating in the vratham. The price of the 800 tickets for couples for the Satyanarayana vratham during Kartheeka Masam remains unchanged at 800.
