SJVN share price: Stock loses momentum, falls over 2% post 8% jump yesterday
India TodayShares of SJVN Limited dropped by over 2% in early trading on Thursday, hitting a day’s low of Rs 108.30. The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bihar government for the development of the Hathidah Durgawati Pumped Storage Project. This project will operate with a levelised tariff of Rs 9.39 per kWh, calculated at February 2024 prices, with a pumping energy rate of Rs 3 per kWh. The pumped storage facility, which will be built on the Durgawati River in Kaimur district, is designed to provide a peak energy output of 6.325 million units per day and an annual peak energy generation of 2,308.65 MU. SJVN is actively developing around 12,000 MW of energy storage projects across various Indian states, including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh, and Bihar.
