Palnadu SP calls for special surveillance teams to curb ganja peddling

The Hindu

Palnadu Superintendent of Police Kanchi Srinivasa Rao on Thursday held an annual inspection of the Sattenapalli sub-divisional police office. He called for special surveillance teams to curb ganja peddling and instructed his subordinates to promote cybercrime awareness through the ‘Cyber Aware’ initiative, targeting educational institutions and villages to educate the public about online threats. To address rising road accidents on national highways, he suggested identifying black spots, installing stoppers and conducting regular drunk-driving checks to enhance road safety. The SP highlighted the importance of swiftly resolving complaints received through public grievance platforms to build trust and ensure justice.
