BJP’s Stand On Delimitation Annamalai criticised Stalin for alleging that Tamil Nadu could lose eight Lok Sabha seats due to delimitation, said that the Chief Minister was spreading misinformation. On behalf of @BJP4TamilNadu, we wish to inform Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru @mkstalin avl that @BJP4TamilNadu has decided not to participate in the all-party meeting convened on March 5, 2025, and we have detailed our reasons for the non-participation in our letter written to… pic.twitter.com/IkHrSkfQQq — K.Annamalai March 1, 2025 The delimitation issue has led to a political standoff between the DMK-led Tamil Nadu government and the BJP-led Centre. While Stalin has argued that delimitation should not penalize South Indian states that have successfully controlled population growth, Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently assured that Tamil Nadu would not lose any seats.
