Missile scientist Dr Jaiteerth Raghavendra Joshi has assumed the role of CEO and Managing Director of BrahMos Aerospace, the India-Russia joint venture known for producing supersonic cruise missiles. Dr Joshi has over 30 years of experience in India’s missile development programs, including contributions to the Prithvi and Agni missile systems. A Distinguished Alumnus of NIT Warangal, Dr Joshi takes over as BrahMos Aerospace faces rising competition in the global defence market, where missile technology remains a key area of focus for many countries.
