The Chase star and comedian Paul Sinha admits 'time is running out' on his career as he reveals his Parkinson's is now so advanced he may only have five years of performing left in him

He told fellow comic Richard Herring's podcast: 'I just want to enjoy myself' In early 2019, Paul Sinha was at the top of his game: fresh from a run at the Edinburgh Fringe, flying high as fearsome quizzer 'The Sinnerman' on ITV's The Chase and making regular appearances on radio panel shows like The News Quiz and Just A Minute. Paul Sinha has revealed that 'time is running out' on his comedy career amid his battle with Parkinson's disease Sinha, a permanent fixture of our TV screens as 'The Sinnerman' on ITV's The Chase, says he 'gets more tired with every passing year' Sinha says he can no longer able drive or dance amid his Parkinson's battle and is now more dependent on his husband Oliver Levy But he told Richard Herring's RHLSTP podcast that his career could have a time limit, decided by the continuing onset of the disorder, of which Back to the Future star Michael J Fox is also a sufferer. Ahead of premiering his Edinburgh Fringe show Pauly Bengali, Sinha told Herring's podcast: 'At this stage of my career, where I'm known as the guy who's got Parkinson's - I've been known as that for the last four years - I've got no idea how long I'm going to be a stand-up for. He told Richard Herring's RHLSTP podcast that he is determined to continue performing for as long as possible During a recent GMB appearance Paul revealed that as well as incorporating his Parkinson's disease into his stand-up, he has also begun doing musical comedy Sinha has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame since ITV picked him up as one of the intimidating brain-boxes helming The Chase, alongside a rotating line-up of quiz champions Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Jenny Ryan and Darragh Ennis.
