Bengaluru Rainfall: According to the India Meteorological Department, Bengaluru and other regions of south interior Karnataka are set to experience a brief dry spell starting Sunday, with overcast skies and occasional drizzle expected until then. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain on December 18 and 19, warning areas including Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, and surrounding districts such as Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, and Tumakuru. MORE RAINFALL ON UPCOMING DAYS The coastal and delta regions of Tamil Nadu are bracing for more intense rainfall starting December 16, triggered by the formation of a new low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal.
