The Pala police have launched a probe into the circulation of a nude video of a Class 9 student at an aided school here by his classmates. According to the complaint, the alleged incident occurred on January 10 when seven fellow students, as part of ragging, beat up the victim and forced him to undress. They then recorded a video of the victim in nude state using a mobile phone and uploaded it on a social media platform. In addition to the police investigation, the Department of General Education has also launched a probe into the incident.
