Premier Peter Malinauskas wished the woman a "speedy recovery", and said the reports of the shark attack were "concerning". The latest incident comes less than a fortnight after 55-year-old surfer Tod Gendle was presumed to have been killed after being attacked by shark on South Australia's west coast, south of Streaky Bay. Mr Malinauskas said Friday's shark attack occurred "a long way" from the fatal incident at Streaky Bay, but said the state's beaches will be closely monitored over summer.
