Charlie Dean contradicts Deepti Sharma's statement, says she did not get any warning before controversial run-out
Hours after Deepti Sharma made headlines by saying that India gave "warning" to Charlie Dean before running her out at non-striker's end, the England cricketer said that no such warning was given. When pressed specifically about whether a warning was given to Dean, the India all-rounder said: "Yes, yes definitely we did say because we told the umpires. When IndiaToday.in asked Charlie Dean to know whether a "warning" was given to her, Dean said she wasn't warned. The world cricket governing body said: "The Playing Conditions follow the Laws in moving this method of effecting a run out from the 'Unfair Play' section to the 'Run out' section."
