More Dutch businesses using AI, mainly text mining and language generation
Last year, 22.7 percent of Dutch companies with 10 or more employees used one or more artificial intelligence technologies, almost 9 percent more compared to the year before. They mainly used text mining and natural language generation, Statistics Netherlands reported in its AI monitor 2024. Last year, 59.2 percent of companies with 500 or more employees used AI in some form, compared to 17.8 percent of companies with 10 to 19 employees. 58 percent of companies in the information and communication industry used AI last year, compared to 37.0 percent a year earlier.
