Covid-19 pandemic: Honda India Foundation opens isolation centres in Haryana, Rajasthan

Honda India Foundation -- the CSR arm of all Honda group companies in the country -- today announced that it has opened a Covid isolation centre each in Naurangpur and Tapukara. In May 2021, Honda India Foundation had earmarked Rs 6.50 crore for the Covid-19 relief efforts in Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. Besides, Honda India Foundation is distributing PPE kits and food packets to frontline workers in Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat, and providing medical equipment such as pulse oximeter, thermometers, oxygen concentrators, to government hospitals located in the rural areas of these states. In India, the Honda group includes companies like Honda Cars India, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Honda India Power Products, Honda R&D and Honda Access India.
