Google announced on Tuesday, the eSIM wireless service on its Pixel 3 smartphone with Reliance Jio and Airtel telecom carriers in India. "Sprint in the US, EE in the UK, Airtel and Reliance Jio in India, and Truphone and Gigsky in various countries will also roll out eSIM support for Pixel 3 in the coming months," Kerrie Lenhart Hogan, Director, Partnerships at Google, said in a statement. Pixel 2 was the first smartphone that came with eSIM support, which is an embedded SIM that allows users to instantly connect to a carrier network, just with a tap of a button.
