Reimagined seaside oasis awaits in Qingdao as summer unfolds
China DailyQingdao's thermometer soars, and its tourist season awakens, so the city enhances its vacation offerings by reinventing its cherished sea-bathing resorts. On June 1, the fully revamped NO 1 Bathing Beach premiered to an expectant public, boasting upgraded exterior design, advanced infrastructure, intensified safety measures, and innovative amenities designed to provide a sublime seaside retreat. The newly renovated beach combines a modern architectural design with an expanded area spanning 3,000 square meters, including 1,500 meters of beautiful landscaping and sports corridors. The commercial changing rooms have also been enlarged to 800 square meters, dining facilities for up to 5,000 beach goers with 669 showers and 2,500 lockers. To enhance navigation, the beach features new directional signs, updated lifeguard towers, and retail kiosks conveniently located in four underground passages.
