Facebook tracks data of Android users even if they do not have an account

At least 61 percent apps automatically transfer data to Facebook the moment a user opens the app. It was found that, “At least 61 percent of the tested apps automatically transfer data to Facebook the moment a user opens the app. App developers share data with Facebook through the Facebook Software Development Kit, a set of software development tools that help developers build apps for a specific operating system, showed the findings. Among the most troubling cases was the revelation in March 2018, that political data-mining firm Cambridge Analytica swept up personal information of millions of Facebook users for the purpose of manipulating national elections.
