Congress government will set up Education and Agriculture Commissions soon: CM Revanth Reddy
Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday said the reputation of the State government has gone up significantly as students from the government schools were now competing with those in the corporate institutions. Addressing government school students at Ravindra Bharathi here, he said, “It is a matter of pride for that government school students are excelling and competing with private schools. Stating that the government is organizing Professor Jayashankar's Badibata program to enroll students in schools, he said the government would hand over maintenance of government schools to women's associations. “We have also directed officials to release funds through green channel,” he said, adding that the government is considering implementation of a semi-residential system in government schools.
