A Mumbai courtroom witnessed dramatic scenes during the hearing on Sunday as two lawyers jostled to represent the man accused of attacking actor Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra apartment. The Mumbai Police arrested Shehzad, 30, from Thane city for allegedly sneaking into the actor's home on January 16 with the intention of theft and then stabbing him. However, before he could obtain the accused's signature on the vakalatnama, another lawyer rushed to the accused box and secured Shehzad's signature on his vakalatnama. Meanwhile, actor Saif Ali Khan is recovering after undergoing two surgeries at the Lilavati Hospital, where he was rushed following the incident that took place around 2.30 am at his flat in the 'Satguru Sharan' building.
