Final investigation into APY Art Centre Collective concludes with no action taken

ABC

The APY Arts Centre Collective says it is "stronger than ever" after the final investigation into allegations of "white hands on black art" concluded with no further action to be taken. The APY ACC said it had been notified by the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations that it had concluded its investigation and Registrar Tricia Stroud had "decided to take no further action". "It … hurt lots of people in the APY lands, art centres as well, so the communities … this company, and we really got hurt," she said. Andrea Michaels says the First Nations art sector "will continue to have a strong future in South Australia".
