LG G8 ThinQ to come with a 3D front camera for better selfies and 3D face unlock

LG is tipped to announce two flagship devices at the Mobile World Congress 2019, which is scheduled to take place between February 25 and February 28 in Barcelona. But now, days ahead of its February 24 event in Barcelona, LG has confirmed that LG would indeed unveil its next G-series device-- the LG G8 ThinQ -- at the event. The LG G8 ThinQ, which was previously tipped to called the LG G8, as the company has confirmed will come with a special Time-of-Flight sensor that will enable the phone not just to capture better selfies but also increase the accuracy of its 3D face recognition system. It will not only enable the LG G8 ThinQ to "deliver a new level of front camera capability in a smartphone" but it will also enable the LG G7 ThinQ successor to be used in augmented reality and virtual reality applications. Other than that, the LG G8 ThinQ is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and a triple-rear camera setup.
