
Seva Trust to distribute 5,000 cloth bags to residents to reduce single use plastic
The HinduThe Amba Maheshwari Seva Trust, Mulihithlu, has plans to distribute over 5,000 cloth bags to the residents of Bolara, Mangaladevi and Hoige Bazar wards where it has been working towards making the wards model ones in terms of waste management, traffic management and civic consciousness. To begin with, the trust has already been distributing the prasadam of Sri Amba Maheshwari Bhajana Mandali in cloth bags for the last one year, said trust president A. Seetharam in a statement. The trust so far has distributed over 3,700 cloth bags in its endeavour to discourage single use plastic in the three wards. It would distribute cloth bags to every resident of Arekerebail, Mulihithlu, Gorakshadandu and surrounding areas to spread awareness about reducing single use plastic.
