YouTube Music's New Generative AI Feature Lets You Create Custom Playlist Art
Google has been gradually adding generative AI to its Workspace apps, and now we’re seeing AI-powered features on YouTube too. It’s clear that Google’s AI ambitions aren’t limited to Workspace, and they’re expanding to YouTube Music with a new AI-generated playlist cover art feature. With this generative-AI-based feature, users can generate playlist art imagery from a range of visual themes and options to create custom cover art for personal playlists. YouTube notes that this can be particularly useful for users who are struggling to find a playlist cover for something like a ’90s R&B music selection or something else. Alongside this feature, YouTube also revealed that it would be launching a new feature on the Home tab that will “help you quickly explore and listen to the songs and artists you’ve got on repeat.” To use this, users would need to open the YouTube Music app, look right at the top of the Home tab, and there you will find your most listened-to music content.
