Tom Brady’s ownership bid for Raiders to be discussed at owners meeting next week
New York TimesFormer NFL quarterback Tom Brady’s bid to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders will be discussed at the NFL’s fall owners’ meetings on Tuesday, Oct. 15 in Atlanta, according to a league source. The Washington Post reported last week that Brady and Wagner have improved their financial offer after the NFL financial committee expressed concerns that Davis was giving them too large of a discount. If Brady’s ownership isn’t voted on at the NFL Fall League Meeting, the next opportunity for owners to do so will be at the NFL Special League Meeting from Dec. 10-11 in Irving, Texas. If Brady is approved to become a Raiders minority owner, he would also have to abide by additional NFL policies in place for owners, according to an ESPN report in August.
