In the recently released book called Talking Life: Javed Akthar in Conversation with Nasreen Munni Kabir, veteran lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar finally addressed the allegations that two of his classics, Zanjeer and Sholay, both starring Amitabh Bachchan, were inspired by western films.
