BJP resolves not to ally with TD or YSRC
KAKINADA: The state executive body of Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday resolved not to ally with opposition Telugu Desam Party or ruling YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh during the 2024 elections. In the political resolution that the BJP passed at its state executive meeting in Bhimavaram town of West Godavari district, the party made it clear that Bharatiya Janata Party will only form an alliance with ideological parties, excluding the YSRC and TD in Andhra Pradesh. While BJP state president Somu Veerraju presided over the meeting, union minister of state for medical and health Dr. Bharati Praveen Pawar, national secretary Sunil Deodhar, state general secretary Madhav, and Rajya Sabha members C.M. The political resolution highlighted that BJP will emerge as an alternative political force to ruling YSRC and opposition Telugu Desam in the state.
