The Telegraph

At least two people have died after a man wielding a knife attacked attendees at an Islamic religious centre in Lisbon. The two women who were killed were named in local media as Mariana Jadaugy, 24 years old, and Farana Sadrudin, 49, and both worked at the centre helping refugees. The attacker is said to be an Afghan refugee of around 40 years old, who has lived in Portugal in 2021, when he travelled from a migrant camp in Greece. The Minister of Administration, José Luís Carneiro, said that the suspect’s wife had died in a camp in Greece.
