Andhra Pradesh: Security tightened for Assembly sessions

Vijayawada: Security has been tightened ahead of the Assembly sessions from February 24 with stringent regulations on entry and movement within the Assembly premises. Different colour-coded passes have been introduced to regulate access to specific areas within the Assembly and legislative council. Officials further stated that Gate 1 access is restricted to the council chairman, speaker, deputy speaker, Chief Minister and Deputy CMs. Restrictions were imposed on conducting press conferences anywhere in the premises except at the designated media point inside the Assembly.
