Honda City BS6 petrol to be launched soon, will have 4 variants

Honda Cars India is all set to launch City with a BS6-compliant petrol engine. A document accessed by Autocar India shows that the competent authority has given a type approval to Honda Cars India's BS6-compliant, 1.5-litre petrol engine and we can expect City to be available with this powertrain very soon. The BS6-compliant, 1.5-litre petrol engine powering Honda City will make 119 hp, same as the current BS4-compliant, 1.5-litre, water-cooled, SOHC, i-VTEC, 4-cylinder, petrol mill does. The document also shows that Honda City BS6 petrol will be available in four variants -- City 1.5 SV MT, City 1.5 V MT, City 1.5 VX MT and City 1.5 ZX MT.
