The HinduMullai Muhilan on Thursday, March 20, asked stakeholders to work on introducing a unified command to ensure safety from mishaps and calamities in industrial and residential zones in the district. He was speaking after inaugurating the 54th National Safety Day organised by National Safety Council, Mangaluru Action Centre in association with Karnataka State Safety Institute, Department of Factories, Boilers, Industrial Safety and Health here. In this regard, industrial establishments should have a unified safety command in association with all departments and safety agencies concerned.
