
Lokesh Reiterates AP Universities will be Turned into Temples of Learning
Deccan ChronicleVijayawada: Education, IT, RTGS and electronics minister Nara Lokesh said within six months of assuming office, the NDA alliance government led by Telugu Desam Party has embarked on a revolutionary overhaul of higher education system in the state. He promised a common law with the goal of making the state's education system a model for the country within the next five years. Lokesh underlined that with the goal of ensuring that no student completing his / her education in the state remains unemployed, rapid changes are being made in the curricula to align education with industry and societal needs during the academic year 2025–26. Under the Purvodaya scheme, proposals worth ₹3,324 crore have been prepared to strengthen academic infrastructure in the state universities.
