Jagan Government Approves Survey of All Castes in AP

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Y.S. Further, the Cabinet ratified a proposal of the finance department to sanction a dearness allowance of 3.64 per cent to employees, pensioners, and family pensioners of the state government with effect from 01-07-2022. The other ratification of the Cabinet is the State Investment Promotion Board’s approval for fresh investment worth Rs19,037 crores for providing employment opportunities to 69,656 persons. The Cabinet appreciated the Jagananna Aarogya Suraksha programme under which 11,700 camps had been organised, 8.72 lakh eye tests conducted, with nearly 11,300 persons undergoing eye surgeries and more than 5.22 lakh persons being given eyeglasses. The Cabinet permitted APIIC to transfer 1,200 acres of land at Pudimadaka in the Anakapalli district for setting up a thermal power plant and a green hydrogen zone.
