Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah hosted Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the world's largest residential palace on Wednesday during his bilateral visit to the country. India's delegation led by India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Brunei's officials led by Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah meet at Istana Nurul Iman in Bandar Seri Begawan on September 4, 2024. Named Istana Nurul Iman Palace, the palace is located in the country's capital Bandar Seri Begawan, along the banks of the Brunei River, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. While being world's largest, the most expensive palace still remains the Buckingham Palace of the British Royal Family in London, worth approximately $2.9 billion.
