Family of five murdered in UP's Prayagraj in 2nd such case in a week, probe on

Five members of a family were killed with sharp-edged weapons in Khevrajpur village in the district. Last Saturday, the bodies of five members of a family were found inside their house in Prayagraj. In the recent case, the victims were identified as Rajkumar Yadav, Rajkumar's daughter Manisha, Rajkumar's wife Kusum, Rajkumar's daughter-in-law Savita, and Rajkumar's granddaughter Mitakshi. Praygraj Additional director general of police said that the Special Task Force will investigate the murder, adding that strict action will be taken if any irresponsibility is found on the police officials’ part. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said criminal activities have increased under the BJP 2.0 government in the state, while Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati expressed concern over the incident and asked for stern action against the culprits.
