AP Speaker warns Naidu against playing games in N. Andhra
Deccan ChronicleVISAKHAPATNAM: AP assembly speaker Tammineni Sitaram has warned opposition leader and former chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu from playing games with the people of north coastal Andhra Pradesh by organising padayatra of Amaravati farmers in the region. The speaker further said after becoming chief minister of the residual state, Chandrababu Naidu made Amaravati as capital of AP to benefit himself, his community and farmers of the 29 villages in Amarvati, while giving a raw deal to north Andhra and other regions. He alleged that Naidu has now engineered a padayatra from Amarvati to north Andhra region only to derive benefits for his and his community and farmers within the 29 villages of Amaravati. “As a citizen of north Andhra, I would like to know who gave permission to Chandrababu Naidu for organising the padayatra,” the speaker asked.
