Deccan Chronicle

Founded in 2023 by a team of alumni from Andhra University including A. Vineel Judson, Dr D. Rajesh, N. Ramajayalakshmi, Dr M. Goutham and T. Neelakanteswara Reddy, Taramandal works on sustainable satellite technologies to achieve net-zero orbits, contributing to the global mission of reducing space debris.“Out of thousands of nominations, 200 startups were chosen. The Forbes Select-200 list is an acknowledgment of Taramandal’s commitment to innovation and excellence. Remarkably, Taramandal is the only startup working on satellite technology in this list and the sole representative from Andhra Pradesh," said Prof. P. Mallikarjuna Rao, mentor of this startup and head of the department of electrical engineering at Andhra University Engineering College.Speaking about the recognition, Vineel Judson, the CEO, said, "Being featured among Forbes India 2024 Select 200 Entrepreneurs is both a privilege and a responsibility. Guided by our mentor, Prof. Mallikarjuna Rao, we are developing cutting-edge, sustainable solutions for satellite technology,” Vineel explained.
