Govt. accords administrative sanction to 20 engineering works costing ₹11,468 crore in Amaravati

The Government of Andhra Pradesh on January 8, 2025 accorded administrative sanction to 20 engineering works in the capital city Amaravati valued at ₹11,468 crore. The CRDA had so far approved capital works costing approximately ₹50,000 crore and it was in the process of mobilising funds from the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, HUDCO and other lending agencies. had been issued for the release of ₹255.67 crore towards the Capital Region Social Security Fund and Assistance to CRDA for revenue expenditure items. It may be noted that the WB had approved a $800 million loan for the Amaravati Integrated Urban Development Program as per a request made by the Government of India.
